Evaluation Process
“What differentiates DCR,” explains Dr. Chris Dembski, “is that we work well with the medical community. We evaluate a patient to identify any medical conditions outside our scope of capabilities so we can make appropriate referrals to specialists such as neurologists, rheumatologists, orthopedists, etc.”

STEP 1: A DCR physician will sit with a new patient to listen closely to that patient’s verbal descriptions of concerns, pains, etc., and to learn about that patient’s expectations from care.
The doctor will ask pointed questions to identify the source of the problems. In addition, questions will be asked aimed at identifying any Red Flags or serious conditions that may prompt a referral to another medical specialist. |
| STEP 2: The Physical Examination A thorough Problem-Focused exam is conducted to determine exact nature of the described problem. 1st Goal: Provoke the symptoms to identify the Pain Producer = the target for treatment. 2nd Goal: Identify key weak links in the body, i.e. tight muscle, weak muscle, scar tissue, etc. Range of motion, orthopedic testing, neurological testing, etc. Note: If a serious condition is detected, an immediate referral will be made to the appropriate professional, and/or prescriptions will be written for the patient to obtain X-Rays, MRI, CT Scan, etc. |

“Everyone at Dembski Chiropractic strives to provide highly-attentive patient care, and to answer all our patient’s questions and concerns. Our ambition is to fill a vacancy in the current traditional health care system of physical therapists, orthopedists, and general practitioners,” explains Dr. Chris Dembski. |
